Back in the mid nineties when in my Ezra Street studio overlooking Columbia Road flower market I was visited by a whirlwind buying team that might be best described as "Joan Rivers meets the Scissor Sisters". They were buying for their Greenwich Village boutique "House of Field". These days Patricia Field has moved on to greater things. Not only styling the new Sex and the City movie as well as previously The Devil Wears Prada, she has just also entered into collaboration with Marks & Spencer to release a 35 piece collection exclusive to selected stores as well as online.
